Since 1 January 2026 the US has suspended immigrant, B, F, M and J visas for Dominican nationals (Proclamation 10998), and in June 2026 the EU asked the five Eastern Caribbean CBI states to end their programmes by 1 June 2028 or risk visa-free Schengen access.
