Residence linked to a qualifying investment. Under Budget Law 20.446 (from 1 January 2026) tax residence by investment without 183 days of presence needs real estate above 12.5 million UI (about USD 2 million) or about USD 100,000 a year into productive-project funds; that also unlocks the new-resident tax holiday.
